Activity Finder
The goal that I was trying to accomplish with this assignment was creating a quick and easy theoretical app for JMU students or other Harrisonburg locals to find nearby outdoor activities. The target audience was mainly students or locals who weren't familiar with a lot of nearby locations but looking to become more active in the future.
The Ask

When conducting my own user research and field testing, I found out through various surveys with local JMU students what their top criteria was for this app. They explained that highlighting the distance to the location and reviews from other users are the most important tools for them. This was a top priority for me to include in this mockup app.

Personas
After I gathered all my research and design requirements for the app, it was time to put it together. I developed specific personas of the potential users who would be on this app to get a further understanding of the audience. These personas ranged from students who had low activity and seeking low impact options to students with high activity seeking high impact options.
